ISLAND VOLLEYBALL CLINICS at Merritt Island High School provides a fun, challenging and safe environment for you to try volleyball for the first time or increase your skill set if you are experienced! We have beginners, intermediate and advanced sessions.
Girls and boys in grades 4-9 have a great time growing in the sport of volleyball while getting to work with elite high school athletes, college athletes and coaches. Along with developing volleyball skills, our goal is to teach kids how to be team players and see them leave excited about VOLLEYBALL!

What to expect at the beach clinic June 3rd and 4th grades 7-9:
Be ready for some fun in the sun at the beautiful beach courts located on Merritt Island High School's campus! Athletes will learn and practice beach volleyball fundamentals and game strategy. We will have separate courts for beginning and experienced players. Please arrive at the courts by 7:45 a.m. to sign in and warm up. Bring plenty of water! Other items you may want to bring are socks, sunscreen, sunglasses and a towel. No bathing suits.
If we have bad weather, we will reschedule. Pick up is at 10:30 a.m.
What to expect at the indoor clinic July 23-25:
•The morning session for grades 4-6 is 8-11 a.m. We will focus on teaching all skills and doing fun drills and competitions! We will take things slower and make sure athletes understand and can perform the basic fundamentals to the best of their ability.
•The afternoon session for grades 7-9 is 12-3 p.m. We will focus on fundamentals, position specialization and game-like drills. There will be scrimmages and player awards.
***We will help get athletes ready to be their best at middle school, high school and club tryouts!***
Players will need to wear shorts, t-shirt (no tank tops) and athletic shoes. Kneepads (not required) will be sold at the door along with a lot of other volleyball merch! All players must bring a water bottle filled with WATER only.
